Christy has been part of the Lakeside Vision and Optical team since 1998, and has over 8 years experience in the eye care industry. As office manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the business and makes sure the office runs smoothly. Christy works closely with the doctors to ensure the staffing, equipment, and organizational needs of the practice are met so that our patients will have the absolute best experience possible. Her focus is on maintaining a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for you, our patient, which allows us to provide superior quality vision and medical eye care for our patients. She is also a highly trained ophthalmic technician and medical assistant. Christy enjoys building long-lasting relationships with patients and looks forward to serving all of your vision needs. She and her husband, Justin, and dog, Cooper, are currently living in a new home in McKinney and love spending time with family and friends.

Brittany has been a part of the Lakeside Vision team for over two years. She works as an ophthalmic technician and medical assistant. She works closely with the doctors and patients to ensure a satisfying experience. Brittany's high energy and devotion to her job is shown in her everyday routine. Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, dancing, painting/drawing, and loves to be outdoors. Brittany will soon be an aunt and is looking forward to the new addition to her family.

Monica is one of the outstanding team members at Lakeside Vision, devoting her time as a medical receptionist. At the front desk, she sees that first and last impressions are important for every patient and beneficial to the office. Monica works with patients before and after any visit to help create a positive relationship. She is always open for any feedback from our patients and makes it a goal to see that every need is met. Outside of Lakeside Vision, Monica works part time as a sales leader at Palm Beach Tan. She and her dog, Monkey, live in a new apartment and loves spending time outdoors. Monica also enjoys dancing, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Mary has four years of optical experience, and will assist you with all of your optical needs. She has three children and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Ashley has several years experience working in an optometry office. She works closely with the doctors as a medical technician. Her main goal at Lakeside Vision is patient pre-testing such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, pupil reflexes, visual field testing, pressure inside the eye, and blood pressure. Ashley makes sure that every patient's needs have been anticipated and met. She currently lives in Garland with her cat, Kit T, and loves photography and sculpture.

Inger has over ten years combined experience in office administration, medical assisting, and customer service. She works together with the doctors and staff to make your visit as a patient, a positive experience. Inger recently completed a course at Collin County Community College to become a Certified Opthalmic Assistant. She is now training to become an ophthalmic technician. From greeting you at the door, to ordering contacts and helping out at the front desk, her focus is to make sure that you feel special as a patient here at Lakeside Vision.
As a recent newcomer to Texas, Inger and her family reside in Plano. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband , two sons, and new puppy, Miko. She loves singing, attending church, going to movies, and taking bike rides with her family.
Shanette Ortiz

Shanette has several years experience in customer service, her main goal is to make sure patients are greeted warmly, comfortably, and to ensure the patient gets the best possible service. Scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, ordering contact lenses for the patient are among the many jobs she is responsible for. Shanette wants to continue school to earn her degree in education. She currently lives in Plano with her youngest brother and has a four year old Pomeranian, Dusty. She enjoys listening to live music and spending time with her friends and family.
